HIDIVE has announced the English dub casts for two highly anticipated anime series: “How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer” and “Loner Life in Another World”. The English dubs are set to premiere in February, bringing these popular series to a wider audience.
How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer
The anime, adapted from Nana Aokawa’s manga, follows college student Tokiwa, who gets invited to a mixer by his classmate Suo. However, upon arriving with his friends, they find themselves face-to-face with three dazzlingly handsome men. These men turn out to be women in disguise, working at a butler cafĂ© that caters to a female clientele. The story follows the group as they navigate the unexpected and heartwarming relationships that develop.

About the Series
The manga for “How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer” began serialization on Nana Aokawaâs Pixiv account on March 21, 2020. It was later acquired by Square Enix, who began publishing it on their Gangan Online manga website on February 12, 2021. The manga is also available in English on Square Enix’s Manga UP! app. The series has also inspired a live-action TV drama in 2022.
Loner Life in Another World
“Loner Life in Another World,” based on the light novel series by Shoji Goji, takes viewers on a unique isekai journey. After being transported to another world with his entire high school class, Haruka misses the power selection period and is left with the abilities that his classmates rejected. Despite seemingly being underpowered, Haruka uses his unwanted skills to live a surprisingly comfortable life as a lone wolf. The story highlights how his ingenuity and creativity lead him to unexpected success.

About the Series
The “Loner Life in Another World” light novel series originated on the ShĆsetsuka ni NarĆ website in October 2016 before being published in print by Overlap beginning in January 2018. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Bibi, began serialization in January 2019. The anime adaptation is produced by Hayabusa Film and Passione, with Akio Kazumi as the director.
